All evening I've been stewing over something unplesant that happened at work as a result of an irrelevant irritant. I was planning to bitch all about it until I realized. Pests aren't worth the time that we spend worrying about them. We should just exterminate them, then remove the offending creatures from our surroundings. So that's what I'm going to do. Besides, talking about it more would only serve to piss me off again. I've done nothing wrong, so my conscience is clear.

Anyway, work has been absolutely crazy. Because of the way the department is structured (global), and because the client is based in the opposite timezone, I feel like I'm literally working round the clock. And I'm so tired. I've had to cancel a planned (but airtix not booked) vacation because as clients always do, they want to come visit you when you're planning to go on leave. So I've decided to cancel that vacation and channel my focus on my year end vacation (hopefully save more moolah too). In order to perk myself up I've planned a day off between the weekend and a public holiday. That way, I have 4 days to do nothing but sleep after this project is all complete. I can't wait.

But hopefully, the others I have on my hand will also be done, and I can have at least 1-2 weeks of lull before the mayham begins again. But on the bright side, working with this varied crew of people is definitely interesting, especially with the personalities that are on board. At least it's not boring. It can be worse, it can be insanely boring. ®
